Did you know the V & A Museum has an online gift shop? We didn't.
They have some amazing things, including this circuit-printed silk scarf (link is external) inspired by David Bowie's jumpsuit on the cover of Ziggy Stardust (link is external).
The jumpsuit will be on display in the V&A's David Bowie retrospective (link is external), opening March 23.
"the show will feature more than 60 stage-costumes, including the Ziggy Stardust bodysuit from 1972 in which Bowie made a landmark Top of the Pops appearance, Kansai Yamamoto’s flamboyant kabuki theatre-inspired creations for the Aladdin Sane tour in 1973 and the Union Jack coat designed by Bowie and Alexander McQueen for the Earthling album cover in 1997."
We also love this digitally printed silk velvet "Techno" scarf (link is external) by textile artisan Neil Bottle. Gorg, right? It's available monochrome greys and in turquoise (link is external) silk, just the thing for your Seapunk outfit.
And there's a jaw-dropping twist on the laser-cut (link is external) paper eyelashes (link is external) trend with these (link is external), inspired by lace in the V&A's collection.
Going to London to see the Bowie exhibit? You'll need this (link is external) utterly chic little stainless steel map of the Underground, sized to fit in your wallet. Have a great time!
